WAPT - World Ranking Point System™ (WRPS)

The World Ranking Point System WRPS™ is maintained for all WAPT members.  World Ranking Points are used to determine placing in WAPT competitions such as the Player of the Year and World Amateur Ranking.  WAPT members who participate in "WRPS Sanctioned" events and finish in the top 15% of players in the event, earn world ranking points. 

WRPS Sanctioned Events

Events that earn world ranking points are clearly designated as "WRPS Sanctioned" Events.  The following WAPT events are sanctioned for the World Rank Point System.

Winter League (Regular & Grand Finale), Spring League (Regular & Grand Finale), Summer League (Regular & Grand Finale), Fall League (Regular & Grand Finale), all (Major) tournaments.

Current Player World  Ranking

World amateur rankings will be published on a monthly basis.  World rankings points include the total points accumulated over the last 3 years plus the current year.
