With the exception of a few hiccups with tourney setup, it was a successful year at the WAPT. There were some repeat champions, a new Amateur Player of the Year and a changing of the guard in the world rankings. Most important of all, the caliber of tournament play in the WAPT aspired to a higher level and many of the players have improved their play considerably. 2007 looks to be the most competitive year yet.
